Magistrato Gardens was founded in 1988 by Mr. Charis Kimonos.

He had already started working on this all by himself back in 1985, which is the only job he ever did.

Love and passion for plants made him work very hard for many hours. Meanwhile the number of his clients was increasing and they were asking for more. This is the case till today.

At a later stage he felt that he should also explore in other countries, and see how people perform this job elsewhere. Indeed, he found what he was asking for, in order to create a company which would be dealing from the very first moment of planting or seeding till the time the plant ends up being a big tree. Also the company would deal with planting the tree in the right place of a beautiful garden with the right specifications of topsoil, fed by an automatic irrigation system and most importantly owned by a happy client.

In the various countries he visited especially Italy, the Netherlands and Israel he studied and compared the various production systems they are using. He adopted those in the climate and morphology of Cyprus and then on he looked only ahead.

Today Magistrato Gardens is the biggest production and landscaping company in Cyprus, with over 170 employees and production installations of almost 300,000 square meters in accordance with EU specifications.

We have landscaped the biggest and most admired projects with Aphrodite Hills that started in 2000 and still going on, being a land mark. A work we have been trusted to and have proved to perform beyond standards. The Aphrodite Hills became a reference project in Cyprus as well as abroad.

Today we have the biggest and most modern production unit, well organised landscaping and maintenance teams, a paradise hearing to the name Garden Center and a chain of four contemporary Arte Magistrato flower shops in the Limassol district.

• Increase plant production so we can respond to export calls from other countries, something which is already underway.
• Satisfy the demand coming from other countries for landscaping like Romania, Morocco, and the Gulf States.

We respect nature and we know that plants grow with us and for us and they need the necessary space and care. We respect the client, who is the base of our growth and success. Many of our clients end up being our friends for over 20 years now.
